Another major European city means another Sandeman's walking tour for us.
Another major European city means another Sandeman's walking tour for us.
We spent three hours taking a deep dive into the history of Paris with Sandeman's New Europe Free Walking Tour.
Luxembourg is one of the smallest sovereign nations in Europe. Despite its size, it plays an important role in the foundation of Europe — both in ancient times and the modern age.
After a few days in Prague, We were off to Regensburg, Germany for a one-night stop. But first, before we left the Czech Republic for good, we had to stop at the town of Plzn to visit the Pilsner-Urquell Brewery.
We knew next to nothing about Prague, so we headed out to Old Town Prague to hook up with the Sandeman's New Prague free walking tour (like we do in any city we can).
This update didn't really fit into the Sound of Music tour recap, and the post on Prague was getting too long, so the drive from Salzburg to Prague is going to have to stand on its own. But I warn you, it's not very exciting.
We drive into Austria just long enough to take a Sound of Music tour on a giant bus.
Turin! Home of Fiat, vermouth, the Shroud of Turin, and the bicerin—the greatest drink ever.
We were off on another day trip to another Italian city — Florence (called Firenze in Italy) — which is home to another UNESCO World Heritage Site. And, of course, Michelangelo's David.
We take a short drive to Pisa to visit the UNESCO World Heritage Site known as the Piazza del Duomo, Pisa.
